01Bio
Boris Djordjevic builds across medicine, biotech, software, books, and companies. The common thread is simple: use technology for good, reduce suffering from disease and age, and help human life go a bit beyond what people think is fixed. Before longevity he founded and scaled companies in China — work that funded and trained him for the longer bet he made in 2011, when he turned the same appetite toward aging.
He now runs 199 Biotechnologies, which brings discovery, GMP manufacturing, diagnostics, clinical care, and gene-therapy delivery into one operating system. The lead programme tests engineered Yamanaka-factor reprogramming, first in glioblastoma models before turning toward aging. Through 199 Labs, the company manufactures GMP-grade Procyanidin C1 and related senolytic candidates.
Alongside the biotech, he has co-authored 8 peer-reviewed papers in Nature Methods, Science Advances and other leading journals, authored two books, and shipped 70 open-source repositories. The work looks wide from the outside. From inside it is one direction: build useful systems that make better human life more possible.

03Research
His research spans mechanobiology, cancer metastasis, neurodegeneration, and longevity science.

05Code
70 public repositories, mostly Rust, across 199-biotechnologies and 199-mcp. Research agents, MCP servers, memory systems — tools I needed and wanted other people to have.
06Thinking
Short notes and essays-in-progress.
07Advising and investing
Boris is always interested in serious science, useful tools, and people trying to reduce suffering from disease and age. Sometimes that means advice, sometimes investment, sometimes just a useful conversation.
